Pre Glow Instructions
Tanning Planning-
We recommend getting your custom airbrush tan 1-2 days before your big event. This includes all manicures and pedicures, massages, etc. Any products applied during these services will create a barrier on your skin which may result in uneven tanning. This time frame also allows for your post rinse time and your 'true' tan to develop (8-10 hours for our Classic and 2-4 hours for our Rapid).
The Golden Goddess ships in a red premium, 6-inch diameter ceramic planter. To avoid water spillage, this container does not have holes. The Golden Goddess is a moderate grower depending on its environment and is hardy in USDA Zone 9-11. Golden Goddess is a mobile custom spray tanning company that brings the GLOW to you! Golden Goddess Philodendron
Exfoliation-
Exfoliation is crucial to achieving a smooth, even tan. Focus on dry and rough areas (such as the knees and elbows). After showering, avoid all oil based products, lotions, deodorant, perfumes, make up, etc..(Especially Dove soap & Bath & Body Works products). These products leave a barrier on your skin that decreases tanning absorption. Come clean, dry, and exfoliated :)
Shaving & Waxing-
We recommend shaving and waxing atleast 24 hours before getting your custom airbrush tan. Shaving and waxing can result in open pores that can increase the likelihood of a blotchy look.
Tanning Attire-
We recommend a dark bathing suit that will not be damaged if our solution gets on the material. Most all solutions wash off, but it is nice to have attire dedicated to your tanning session. Men must wear atleast bottom bikini coverage.

Golden Goddess is also super easy to grow. It adapts well to almost any light conditions, except direct sun, and is totally content being watered only when the surface of the soil dries out. Like many vining plants, the foliage of Golden Goddess gets larger the older your plant becomes.
To keep Golden Goddess in top form, feed it in spring and summer, by adding a little liquid houseplant fertilizer every time you water.
